To reach students located in Somerset County and provide them with long lasting life experiences and the tools necessary to become successful in their future goals.
Services We Provide at The N.A.C.
College Readiness
We help our students prepare for their life outside of high school to prepare for the college world. Through our partnerships with universities, we provide college tours for our students to feel well prepared to graduate high school and enter into their college chapter!
Emotional, Mental, & Physical Development
We help our students with the ongoing process of growth and change throughout their lives. By examining how they experience and manage emotions, process information and learn, and develop physically, we are molding the future leaders of America to make positive impacts in society.
Serving & Volunteering in the Community
We help our students to see how they can actively contribute to the communities they live in without expecting any payment. Students learn how to be servant leaders in their community and understand the importance of humility and gratitude when performing these services.
College Mentorship
We partner with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (U.M.E.S.) to provide our high school and middle school students with volunteer college leaders (mentors) to help guide them in the right direction and to share with them their experiences of life.
Career Readiness
We help our students prepare for their life outside of high school to prepare for whatever direction they choose. Through our partnerships with businesses and job centers, we provide our students with the tools necessary to feel well prepared enter into their adult life!
Academic Tutoring
We also partner with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (U.M.E.S) to provide tutoring services to the students in Somerset County who may have difficulty in their academics and need extra support to gaining the skills and knowledge needed for their courses.
